Hi, I’m McKenzie—a speech-language pathologist and proud Austin native with deep roots in the Lake Travis community.

I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of Texas at Austin. Most of my experience comes from working in schools, where I’ve collaborated closely with families and professionals to support communication in real-life settings.

My work is shaped by personal experience and a deep commitment to caregiver education, especially around Autism Spectrum Disorders. I’m passionate about AAC, fluency, executive functioning, and sensory-informed language therapy. I believe communication is a human right, and I bring creativity, compassion, and collaboration into every session.

Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me running, doing yoga, or spending time with my rescue dogs, Willow and Tempo. My husband and I love exploring Austin’s trails, parks, and food scene—and I volunteer regularly at the Austin Animal Center.
