About Angela Murphy, MA, CCC-SLP, SEP

Hi, I’m Angela—a speech-language pathologist and somatic experiencing practitioner specializing in trauma-informed care, and a passionate believer in the healing power of connection.

For over 24 years, I’ve supported clients on their communication journeys—from classrooms and homes to outpatient clinics and now my own private practice. I’ve learned that real growth happens when people feel safe, seen, and supported.

Born during the pandemic, my practice centers on the whole person—honoring the nervous system, recognizing the importance of regulation, and building strong, trusting relationships rooted in curiosity and care.

Therapy here is never one-size-fits-all. I bring a wide, flexible toolbox informed by experience and ongoing learning. I see communication as deeply tied to regulation, relationships, and identity, and engage through play, sensory exploration, and co-regulation. Most of all, I listen to clients, families, and what the nervous system is telling us. Families aren’t just involved—they’re essential partners in the process.
