About Amy Campney, M.S. CCC-SLP

Hi, I'm Amy - a multilingual speech-language pathologist with a love for languages, communication and a passion for ensuring all people find their voice.

I earned my degree in Clinical Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Arizona University, after exiting my first career as a public school teacher.  My studies inspired me to focus on adults with swallowing, voice and language disorders, and I worked in skilled nursing, assisted living and independent living settings for 5 years. I continued to explore therapy with kids part-time, and I am now excited to transition to working with children full-time. My language skills in Spanish (proficient) and Mandarin (intermediate) have helped me build connections with clients and families in my care. I am dedicated to family-centered care for all clients and goal-setting that focuses on meaningful interactions and relationship building.

In my life, I build community with music, dance and friends. My foster home is full of new experiences each day, which guide me to learn about the nervous system profoundly and personally.
