About Taylor Nance M.S. SLP - Intern

Hi! I’m Taylor, a pediatric speech-language pathologist and Clinical Fellow who loves helping children build communication skills in ways that feel meaningful, fun, and functional.

I received both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of Texas at Austin, along with a minor in Spanish for Healthcare Professions. Throughout my training, I developed a strong interest in working with children and supporting their communication across everyday environments.

One of the things I value most about speech therapy is getting to work alongside families. I believe that parents and caregivers are the most important members of a child’s care team, and the practice and support they provide at home can make such a difference in a child’s progress. I love partnering with families, celebrating the little wins, and watching children become more confident and independent communicators over time.

When I’m not working, I'm usually playing volleyball, painting, or spending time with my pet bunnies. I feel so lucky to get to do work that allows me to build relationships with children and families while celebrating their progress along the way!
